DATELINE: Corrigan’s Beach, East Coast of Florida – Turtle Trail Coin Update

In a previous post (January 18, 2016) I described a Mexico eight reales that was found at Turtle Trail near Corrigan’s beach on December 26, 2015. This coin has sentimental value because it was found on December 26, 2015 and is one of the last eight reales found along the Treasure Coast during the 300th Anniversary year of 2015.

In my previous post I promised that a better high-resolution image would be featured in a later post. Here are images of the front and back of that coin with substantial detail.

    1. If you’re referring to Mexico Eight Reales found on the Beach at Turtle Trail, I do not know the answer. I can say, that there have been silver coins from Mexico found in the water this year at the Corrigan’s wreck site as well as at Douglass Beach.
