Start Here – Rules of the 1715 Fleet Society Forums
We don’t have many rules so they’re easy to understand and absorb and follow.
Make sure you understand our terms of service and privacy policy. The terms spell out what we do here and how we moderate things. Since we are a member-based website that requires login for commenting, there is some information we collect to facilitate that. That is spelled out in the privacy policy. Using this site assumes you have read, understand, and agree to the terms and privacy policy.
Harassment, racist, sexist and most other -ist type remarks will be removed. Remember, users can flag content they see on the site. Admins review flagged content regularly. Repeated violations of this rule will result in removal of your account from this site. Membership dues paid by members who are suspended for repeated violations of the site terms and policies will not be refunded.
Admins reserve the right to remove any post, comment, or material from the site at any time.
This discussion will show up at the top of every forum until the forums have been established at which time we’ll display it only in the general forums area of the site. You’ll see it at the top of each forum like this:
This is called a “sticky” discussion. It’s just one topic – but it shows up in every forum to remind members of the site rules. This topic is locked, which means there can be no discussion on it. If you have a question about the rules, head over to the general forum and post a question and it will be answered by moderators.
