Coin Description: Full date 1713 Mexico Eight Reales. 26.2 grams partial “O(MJ)”. About 40% of the shield is visible. Both date and shield strongly struck. Reverse shows well centered cross which is nearly complete along with well defined lions and castles. Hammer marks are also evident on reverse. Planchet cracks from the minting process can also be seen.
