A display of 16th Century treasure which includes gold coins from the wreck of the merchant vessel Ann Francis has opened at the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea.
On public display for the first time, the discovery tells the dramatic story of treasure lost and found centuries apart. The Ann Francis was caught in a ferocious storm and blown off course on the evening of 28 December 1583 while returning from Spain and wrecked on Margam beach.
