As a follow up to our August 1 post, progress is slowly being made to organize, categorize and shelve the vast library recently purchased by the Fleet Society from co-founder Ernie Richards. As previously reported, the first half of the library was delivered to us on Thursday, July 27. Since then we have been working on getting the library unpacked and displayed. There is much work to do as can be seen in these images. Many of the books are basically brand new with a few personally signed by the author. We have about 450 books, booklets, catalogues, pamphlets and magazines in this grouping. The other portion of the library consisting of about 300 to 350 books, etc. is expected in January, 2024.
