Sedwick Auction 36
https://1715fleetsociety.com/sedwick-auction-36/
In three short weeks (November 7) bidding will open as Sedwick Auction 36 commences. With two auctions a year, Sedwick Auctions has earned its worldwide reputation for offering high-end quality gold and silver coins, artifacts, and other treasures from various shipwrecks (especially the 1715 Fleet) as well as gold and silver coins, paper money, medals, and other objects of interest from countries around the world.
This current auction is of special interest to the 1715 Fleet Society due to a new collaborative effort between the Society and Sedwick & Associates, LLC. Under this collaboration, the Society will receive the full hammer amounts for each lot donated for that purpose by both Society and non-Society members. This, of course, was all made possible by the generosity of Sedwick & Associates who agreed to provide the necessary support to make this work.
Auction 36 contains nine lots that are being sold for the benefit of the Society. These lots include coins, coin jewelry, and other items. Numerically these lots are 327 (Mexico 8 reales cob), 329 (Mexico 8 reales cob), 474 (Lima 8 reales cob), 1427 ( Seville 2 reales cob), 1638 (SS Republic Bottle), 1660 ( Jorge Proctor Book), 1810 (Mexico 1/2 real cob), 2070 (Mexico 8 reales coin jewelry) and 2072 (Mexico 1 real coin jewelry).
We would like to thank the following individuals who generously donated items that constitute the various lots being sold on our behalf: Fleet Society Advisory Board member Charles Winn (chwinn82@gmail.com) Pedigree Service; Paul Knudsen (paulscoins1776@gmail.com); Bill Pearson (atochabill@earthlink.net); Karen McKee (McKee Numismatics); Matt Kleinsteuber (matt@nfccoins.com); Dane McGraw (mjdartifacts@gmail.com); and finally, Daniel Frank Sedwick and his staff (sedwickcoins@gmail.com).
We would like to thank everyone for their help in making this collaboration possible.
