A native of Worcester, Massachusetts he served in the U.S. Navy, Naval Weapons Station from 1956 – 19..., one of the original Real 8 Company Members.
Louis J. Ullian was born in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1932. He gained a mechanical engineering degree from Purdue University in 1955 and from there went directly into the Navy. He served in the U.S. Navy, Naval Weapon Station from 1956 to 1959 as a hard hat underwater ordinance diver. He ended his career working for NASA as the Deputy Director of Safety. He died in 2010
