For all of you who are Florida United Numismatists (FUN) members you would have recently received a copy of the publication “FUNTopics” which is the quarterly magazine of that organization. In that publication you will find an article authored by our own Advisory Board member Charlie Winn. Entitled “Dirty Money II,” it is a fascinating treasure story told from the perspective of a young man in South Florida who got to experience a “cache of a lifetime”.
If you are not a member of FUN you should consider joining. In addition to a first class quarterly publication, FUN also has two yearly shows. If you are already a member, look up Charlie’s story and read it. I think you will enjoy reminiscing with him about your first coin find and how you were launched into the world of numismatics.
