For those of you planning to attend the upcoming Conference next month, I am attaching a map of the Flagler College Campus which will serve to give you some guidance as to where the Conference will be held.
As you will see on the map, the Campus is rather large. The location of the Conference is in the Ringhaver Student Center, the Gamache-Koger Theater which is in building 18. The Fleet Society will also be sponsoring a Reception the day before the Conference on Wednesday, March 15th from 5 pm – 8 pm at the Virginia Room which is also in the Ringhaver Student Center.
There will be signs in the lobby directing you to the Virginia Room and the Theater. Both are located on the 2nd floor and are very easy to find. The two luncheons associated with the Conference on Thursday and Friday will be held in the Solarium which is located in the Ponce de Leon Hall, building 2 on the map.
You will be given specific instructions on how to navigate your way to building 2 from building 18 when we recess for lunch on the first day of the Conference. It is actually quite close and only takes a few minutes to get there.
I urge everyone planning to go (who have not already signed up) to consider doing so as soon as possible. We would like to have a head count by the end of the month.
I know there are several individuals who indicated that they were going to attend the Conference but have not yet registered. We sure would like to get a nice response. Please consider signing up sooner than later.
