Dateline: Tallahassee, Florida – Accessing the State Collection for Research

We recently received an email from the Bureau of Archaeological Research (BAR) regarding procedures for accessing the State Collection of 1715 Fleet related artifacts, coins, etc.

That email stated:

“The Bureau of Archaeological Research (BAR) encourages both professional and avocational scholars to access our Collections in order to further the study of Florida’s past. For questions about conducting esearch on items in the BAR Collections, please contact Marie Prentice  (marie.prentice@dos.myflorida.com) or call us at 850-245-6301 for more information.”
