Greetings Fleet Society members. I am here in Pittsburgh at the ANA World’s Fair of Money. Today was Dealer Day which is a special day set aside for dealers only who buy and sell from each other. Tomorrow is the official opening day of the show which kicks off on Tuesday at 12:30 when the bourse floor opens to ANA members and at 1:00 pm for the general public. Wednesday through Friday 9:30 am for ANA members and 10:00 am to 6:00 pm for the general public. Saturday 9:30 am for ANA members and 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for the general public. Admission is free for everybody on Saturday. Admission is $10 daily and $25 for a weekly pass. Free to ANA members and children under 12. Active and retired military (plus up to 3 guests) receive complimentary admission.
This show is enormous. Here are two pictures that I took of the entire bourse floor from an overhead walkway. One picture is from my left and the other from my right. Just put the two images together to get a sense of the magnitude of the show. If you get a chance to attend you will not be disappointed. More to come.
