Day 6: ANA World’s Fair of Money in Pittsburgh

Saturday was the final day of the World’s Fair of Money here in Pittsburgh. Overall it was a very enjoyable convention. As indicated in my prior posts I had a chance to meet many Society members and make new friends. I let everyone that I met know about our upcoming conference in Vero Beach in January. Also, got a few donors. My last day started by attending an executive board meeting of the ANA. I was recently appointed the board’s Parliamentarian so my presence was necessary. The meeting lasted over three hours so my time on the bourse floor was limited. I did, however, manage to pick up several coins for a friend who asked me to do some shopping for him. After that, I left, reluctantly, but had other commitments elsewhere. The next show that I will be attending is the Pennsylvania Association of Numismatists Fall Show in nearby Monroeville, Pennsylvania in October. Hope to see you there.
