On Thursday, October 23, our Regional Director (Florida Treasure Coast), Jim Wilson (Member #171), appeared as the “ghost” at the 1715 Fleet cannon on the Fort Pierce waterfront from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. This was Jim’s second year (John Brandon manned the cannon for the first two years it was there). A total of eight tours consisting of 10-25 guests per tour (approximately 125 total), stopped for a short ten-minute informational talk about the 1715 Fleet, the 1715 cannon, the 1715 Fleet Society, and 1715 Fleet — Queens Jewels, LLC. Jim handed out 2026 Conference and membership flyers to interested people — one being a teacher at our venue, Indian River State College!
