We received word from Karen McKee (Member # 29) that her mother recently passed away. Karen’s mother was the widow of Art McKee, generally recognized as the father of modern-day treasure salvaging. Karen has carried on the legacy of her family as she is deeply involved in the research and certification of shipwreck coins. She is a valued member of the Fleet Society and we all extend to her our deepest condolences.
