The Florida Keys, where both the Nuestra Señora de Atocha and Santa Margarita shipwrecks were discovered, is the perfect spot for shipwreck coin aficionado Carol Tedesco.
“Working with shipwrecks and their treasures was something I’d dreamed about since I was a teenager and first started hearing about Mel Fisher and the search for the Atocha shipwreck,” says Tedesco.
Her professional life is a unique amalgamation of specialties. In the historic shipwreck industry, she has worked with projects in North, South, and Central America, the Caribbean, Africa, and the Pacific, providing services for some of the world’s most prominent underwater exploration companies.
