The 1715 Fleet Society Board of Directors has announced that it has chosen the Mueller Campus of Indian River State College (IRSC) as the site for the Society’s 2026 Conference. Located just west of Route 1 in the West Vero Corridor, the Muellar Campus is a 141-acre facility with ample parking and many local amenities that can accommodate conference attendees. The conference will be held in the Richardson Center, which can hold up to 200 patrons. There is ample room for displays and exhibits.
The conference will be preceded by a reception at the Vero Beach Heritage Center on Sunday, January 11, 2026. Unlike prior events, this conference will last three days, with the first two days (Monday the 12th and Tuesday the 13th) devoted to all things Fleet-related. The third day (January 14th) will focus on topics of interest regarding other shipwrecks, hoards, and finds. A dinner meeting is planned for Tuesday night. A catered continental breakfast will be provided each day.
Tickets will go on sale August 1. Ticket prices will be based on projected costs. A discount will apply to all members who attend.
The agenda will be posted once all speakers confirm their attendance.
