We would like to take this opportunity to introduce and welcome our newest Advisory Board member, Lenore Wetzel. Many of you already know Lenore from her hard work and dedication to the Society over the last several years. Lenore has been instrumental in maintaining the quality of our website and has also assumed a number of responsibilities related to the administration of the Society, such as coordinating Conferences, programs, and membership. She was deeply involved in helping to organize our last Conference in 2024 and is currently serving as Coordinator for our January 2026 Conference in Vero Beach.
From a review of her bio here, it can be seen that her education has been concentrated in Marketing and Merchandising. She has assumed that role as our new Advisory Board member. In the future, she will be working with other Advisory Board members as well as the Board of Directors to create and develop new marketing and merchandising projects.
Over the years, she has also helped design shirts, hats, and other items that were sold by the Society. Her latest contribution was the t-shirts and hats commemorating the 310th Anniversary of the loss of the 1715 Fleet (see below). We still have several shirts available for sale. If anyone would like to obtain one, please contact Lenore here. Sorry, we are all out of hats!
We are pleased to welcome her to our Advisory Board and thank her for her willingness to participate and accept the responsibilities associated with this position. Incidentally, you will be able to meet Lenore in person at the Conference in January.
