2022 Vero Beach Conference Wrap-Up

By all accounts, our recent conference in Vero Beach was an overwhelming success. The conference started with a Meet and Greet on October 30. A number of authors were present to sign books and engage in light-hearted conversation with those in attendance. In addition, Maritime artist James Flood of Delray Beach Florida had a number of prints available for sale.

The educational portion of the conference started at 8:45 a.m. on Monday, October 31. Speakers included Charlie Winn, Richard Beleson, Margaret Weller, Terry Armstrong, Steve Workman, and Tom and Terry Neiman. The program ended at 4:30 p.m. There were about 50 people in attendance. Afterward, a membership meeting was held that had 20 people in attendance.

The second day of educational programming began at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1. Speakers included attorney Ford F. Freget, Jorge Proctor, Karen McKee, Charlie Winn, and Bob Evans. There were about 50 people in attendance.

From comments made after the conference concluded it was obvious that those in attendance were very pleased with the presented program.

We want to thank all those who attended the conference and donated money to help support our educational programming.
