Flash! The Fleet Society is happy to announce that it has recently been provided with a “treasure trove” of fleet related documents including letters, articles, newspaper clippings and photos, courtesy of our old friend and Fleet Society supporter Frank Noga of Eastlake, Ohio. This rare archival material is part of Frank’s personal collection obtained directly from Real Eight members many years ago. Much of this material has not been seen in decades. Thanks to Frank’s generosity the Fleet Society will be able to copy and post these documents in the near future. Due to the fragile nature of some of these items care will have to be taken in the copying and photographing process. As soon as these historical documents are posted we will notify our visitors in a future newsletter.
