I don’t know about the rest of you, but when I see the number “1715” it grabs my attention. For example, when I see 17:15 in Military Time (5:15 PM to the rest of us) I immediately think “Hey, you don’t see that very often the same number as the 1715 Fleet”.
Well, recently that iconic combination of numbers appeared in a most unlikely place…NFL Football. Last week the Washington Football Team defeated the Seattle Seahawks by the score of 17 to 15. According to our research, the last time that an NFL game ended with that score was in 2016 when the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Minnesota Vikings 17 to 15. But, that is not the end of the story. What makes this even more interesting is that the Washington Football team did it again Sunday. They beat the Las Vegas Raiders by the score of, you guessed it, 17 to 15!
