It is with deep regret that we announce the passing of longtime friend, supporter, and member of the 1715 Fleet Society, Alan Sadwin (Member #15). Alan was the Regional Director for the Great Lakes & NE Region. He and his wife, Sandy, were often found attending the Florida United Numistists shows in January as well as Sedwick’s floor auctions. A very knowledgeable Numismatist, Alan had great knowledge of Spanish colonial coins, especially Atocha pieces. He was one of the “good guys” in the shipwreck community, and his presence will be sorely missed. Alan’s obituary is posted HERE.
