We were notified on Friday that long-time Fleet Society member (#52), supporter, and friend, Ellie Richards, passed away on May 15. Ellie was the wife of Ernie Richards, who, along with our current Vice-President Phil Flemming and current President Ben Costello, founded the Society in 2008. Ellie was a delight. She would light up the room with her wonderful smile and outgoing personality. She was the perfect complement to Ernie, who was more serious and reserved. She and Ernie were inseparable. It is with great sadness that we received the news that she had passed. Below is her obituary. Ellie, may you rest in peace.
