Officially launched on May 1st, 2011, the 1715 Fleet Society made its first sailing at the FUN show in Orlando, January 5- 8, 2012. At the 1715 Fleet Society table were Ben Costello, Phil Flemming, and Ernie Richards, with some much able assistance from John Pullin and Mike Brown. Visitors from Spain and England attested that the the 1715 Fleet Society has already attracted international attention. Many visitors remarked that the Fleet Society website is becoming a virtual archive for Fleet history second to none. The FUN show and perhaps the ANA will become regular venues for the Fleet Society in the coming years. A grand celebration of the tercentenary is planned in 2015.
