As usual, the Fleet Society will be making an appearance at the 2018 FUN Show in Tampa, Florida. The Show runs from Thursday, January 4 – Sunday, January7, 2018. This year our table (#1608) will be on the bourse floor in the Foreign and Ancient section. Previously we were given a free table in the club area. However, the foot traffic was so scarce that it hardly seemed worth the trouble of setting up a table. This year we were able to arrange for a table that would allow us to enjoy maximum exposure. Through the generosity of one of our members (John Pullin) we were able to raise the money to buy a table rather than get a complimentary club table, as was our usual practice.
We will have some exhibit items as well as handouts and applications for Society membership. Also, we expect to have a nice new replica item for sale. More information about that will be provided in a future post. Anyway, please stop by and visit us. Once again, we will be at table # 1608. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones.
