After a one year absence due to Covid 19, the January FUN (Florida United Numismatists) Show will return to Orlando January 6-9 , 2022. This year the Fleet Society will NOT have a table as per a decision made in this regard back in August. It was decided to forego our usual table due to concerns that the show may be cancelled again due to recurrent variants. Rather than invest the time and money it was concluded that we would rather wait until the whole virus issue was under control before paying for and setting up a table. Nevertheless, a report on the status of the Society will be presented at the annual meeting of the SunkenTreasure Book Club at the FUN Show on Friday January 7, 2022 at 100PM. There will not be a Book Club dinner this year due to Covid related issues.
I will be at the show walking around meeting and greeting old friends. So, if you are planning to be there please stop and say hi if you happen to spot me traversing the bourse floor.
