I am submitting this report from the floor of the FUN Show in Orlando, Florida. Today was the first day of the Show and I have attached some images of the 1715 Fleet Society’s Booth, as well as the 1715 Fleet Exhibit sponsored by the Bureau of Archaeological Resources, Division of Historical Resources, Florida Department of State.
The state exhibit is one of the largest ever put together by the Bureau of Archaeological Resources (BAR). The images attached to this newsletter item show exhibit cases and items that are on display including a large coin aggregate or “clump” which weighs 55.9 pounds and contains an estimated 800 to 950 coins.
The FUN Show will continue until Sunday, January 11, 2015. More reports will follow.
