The Fleet Society is proud to announce that marine archaeologist and ocean explorer James J. Sinclair has joined the Fleet Society’s Advisory Board as our new Fleet Society archaeologist. Jim has a long and distinguished career spanning over four decades. He started his career in 1981 working with Mel Fisher and his crew. He has been the chief archaeologist on a number of projects that have taken him all over the world.
We are so pleased that Jim has agreed to assume the role of Fleet Society Archaeologist. He replaces John de Bry, who passed away on Saturday, February 1, at the age of 81. A complete biography of Jim Sinclair can be found here.
